The More the Merrier

Sorry I have been MIA for so long. The past few months, I have been overwhelmed at work with a profuse amount of projects and caught up with my reading. On a good note, an intern will soon join us.  Cheers to that.
My fiancĂ© and I are finally preparing for our wedding.  We have been engaged for almost two years, it's about time.  Lol.  I am still struggling in finding that perfect dress, if you have any suggestions please let me know. I'm exuberant to share with you as we begin in this journey.
Yesterday, we're cruising around the beach. A good thing of having a convertible is that we had our top down to enjoy the nice breeze. The beach was very dirty and it prevented us from getting into the water. But we found other things to do.  I spotted this maxi dress recently at Nordstrom Rack by Max Studio. I love the detailing above the waistline. It helps accentuate the body. I love the simplicity design of this dress but yet elegant and very comfy. The length of the dress helps me look a few inch taller although I was wearing a flat sandals (Forever 21). The material of this dress are ravon/polyster/spandex, thereby it was a bit thick and not as flowy as other typical chiffon/cotton summer maxis. Fortunately, there was an overcast so it wasn't as hot (but later I had to tied up my hair).  This is my new favorite go-to edition in the closet.  I paired this dress with layering the necklaces. Why wear one when you can wear two or more? Isn't the more the merrier?  Have fun with different lengths, styles and textures can add some attitude and creativity to your outfit. Play and experiment it until you find your style, but remember not to get carry away and overdue the look.  My sunglasses can be found here.  I side-braided my hair to compliment the look and to keep the bangs from blowing to my face.
You could dress it down like I did with some accessories or dress it up by pairing it with a wedge sandals as you're heading out for dinner. Don't forget your leather or jean jacket as it might gets cold. With that, I hope you have a great week. Until next time.

Stay Happy,

LESS IS MORE

Crop top is another style that is super saturated on the runways this season.  It's not easy to pull off, but when done right, it's a classy yet sexy piece.  Today, I paired this striped crop top with a high-rise skirt and some accessories. You could also pair your all time favorite statement necklace with this look.. (I forgot mine during the shoot).

Flying Up In The Wind

Spring season is my favorite season. The flowers are blooming, the grasses green, the birds are singing, and most importantly, you can wear your favorite pieces without feeling too hot or too cold. One of my favorite elements of this season is sheer clothing. It's on almost every runway this season.

Today, I wore my favorite piece made by TFNC  from France. The airy and flowy elements of this dress add flirty and feminine touches without worrying about it flying up in the wind. Since the dress has an accent neck bib, I wanted to keep the accessories simple. You could dress it up by pairing it with nude high heels or dress it down with your favorite sandals, like I did here.
